The Magnavox Analog Converter has been around for a couple of years now for old style televisions, but antennas are changing from rabbit ear antennas to digital antennas. There is an antenna called TV Free-way. I was uncertain about buying it when I got another Magnavox Analog Converter. I did not know if it would be compatible with the digital antenna, but I gave it a try. It really works. All of the basic channels on my old television had a clear and beautiful picture like HD.

My television only allowed me to see channel 9, 12, 7, U, and 14 before technology changed. Now all of those channels are three times as much with the Magnavox Analog Converter box digitally. For example, channel 9 is 9.1, 9.2, and 9.3. There is something different on each channel 9. Sometimes when the weather is bad, there is no signal to some of the channels.

The digital antenna is strong and powerful, and it works great when you are not by a window, but it works even stronger when you are by a window. If you are not by a window, you may not get every channel that you can receive.

You can attach the provided coaxial cable to your TV Free-Way using the adapter. Then you can attach the other end of the coaxial cable to your Antenna In to your converter box. When you turn the television on, you will need to do a channel search or auto scan. The TV signal may vary due to a number of reasons. Your signal can be poor because of interior walls, nearby hills, location of other buildings or dense trees and so on. You will be able to move the digital antenna around, and a provide stand comes with the antenna.
